About Chris

I live in the bustling metropolis of Victoria, BC and tattoo at Tattoo Zoo. In May of 2008 I relocated from my home in Vancouver and began an apprenticeship with tattooer and shop owner Gerry Kramer. Previously I called Toronto my home. Well, truthfully I lived near Toronto, in the outer suburbs of Mississauga, Oakville and Clarkson, but who wants to admit to that? Saying you lived in Toronto just sounds cooler, more urbane, and since it's my bio I get to bend the truth. While living in the GTA I studied illustration at Sheridan College. That part is 100% true. I wouldn't be tattooing today if it were not for the generosity of a whole lot of people; success at anything really isn't an individual effort. It just wouldn't be possible to credit everyone that helped along the way though I feel I need to acknowledge at least a few. If I didn't mention you it's not for lack of appreciation. These patient and generous folks have put up with my questions, badgering, begging, and general loitering on the premises.
